Today in class we reviewed the consonants in hindi languages and phonics. Also we discussed the celebration of Navrati and some characters in Ramayana.
Homework: Please review the consonants with your kids and have them write them atleast once.

In Ramayan we discussed how Ram met Sugriva, devotion of Sabri and how Bali and Sugriva became enemies.
In Hindi we continued to practice the aa ki matra and small ee ki matra.
We have a test in hindi on December 12th.

We continued to practice the Bhajan “Hey Ram” please help your kids memorize this for the Diwali function.

Kids were given a copy of the Bhajan ” Hey Ram”. They have to memorize and practice to perform on Diwali function. Date To Be Announced .
We wrote hindi words with 2 letters. We also learned a new poem “Lalaji ” which is in our Balvihar book.
Homework for Oct 3rd
Write AA ki marta for the letters Ka through Na.
The first 2 lines on page 95 or 93 in the Balvihar Book.
Memorize the poem Lalaji.
Memorize the Bhajan Hey Ram.

Please write the first alphabet of the first and the last name of all the family members in your house- 3 times. We will be making some words with those alphabets.
Also, in preparation of Diwali function we will start practicing songs and shloka’s on Sundays before class.
